Fix Your Posture. Transform Your Horse

Fix Your Position. Transform Your Horse.

The horse responds to everything the rider’s body communicates.

Posture, movement, breathing, tension, recovery, and lifestyle habits all influence how your horse moves, responds, and experiences you.

This is a whole body approach to improving both rider and horse.

Riders often focus entirely on the horse, without realising how much the horse is compensating for the rider

The Problem

Your horse doesn’t just respond to what you do

It responds to what you are.

Your posture, movement, breathing, and internal state all influence what your horse feels from you.

If your body is uneven, your horse experiences unevenness.
If you are holding tension, your horse feels restriction.

For the Horse
For the Rider
  • Uneven muscle development and physical strain.
  • Reluctance to transition or move forward freely.
  • Long-term soundness issues from compensating for rider imbalance.
  • Asymmetric weight distribution creating false 'stiffness'.
  • Unconscious tension blocking the horse's back movement.
  • Collapsed posture leading to imprecise and confusing aids.

The Truth

If your body is balanced and responsive, your horse can move more freely.

This is not just about position.

It is about the relationship between your body and your horse’s movement.

When you improve how your body functions, you change how your horse experiences you.

The Approach

A comprehensive approach to improving how the rider functions and how the horse responds.

Embark on extraordinary adventures with our tailored travel experiences, designed for your enjoyment.

ASSESS

Understand posture, movement, breathing, recovery, lifestyle habits, and physiological load.

IDENTIFY

Areas of tension, imbalance, restriction, and compensation affecting rider and horse.

CORRECT

Mobility, stretching, breathing, corrective exercise, and structured progression.

INTEGRATE

Transfer improvements into riding, movement quality, communication, and connection.

These issues don't resolve on their own through more riding they require a fundamental shift in how you align with yourself and your values, this creates harmony with your horse.

How I Work

I take a holistic and integrated approach to rider performance and rider–horse interaction.

The body does not function in isolation.

How you move, breathe, recover, sleep, eat, manage stress, and live each day influences how your body functions and therefore influences what your horse experiences from you.

Every rider begins with a comprehensive assessment process designed to understand the factors influencing movement quality, posture, compensation patterns, tension, recovery, and overall physiological load.

This process may explore:

  • Posture and alignment

  • Movement quality and restrictions

  • Breathing patterns

  • Sleep and recovery habits

  • Stress and lifestyle influences

  • Nutritional habits and digestion

  • Previous injuries and health history

  • Rider–horse interaction patterns

From this process, an individual pathway is created which may include:

  • Mobility and stretching work

  • Corrective exercise

  • Strength and stability training

  • Lifestyle and recovery guidance

  • Progressive programme updates

  • One-to-one coaching support

The goal is not simply to improve posture.

The goal is to improve how the rider functions, what the horse experiences, and ultimately strengthen the quality of movement, communication, and relationship between rider and horse.
